The Kentucky Soybean Promotion Board (KSPB) is looking for farmers interested in filling one of Kentucky’s two director positions with the United Soybean Board (USB). The position currently held by Dennis Clark, Sedalia, Kentucky, expires in December 2015. Clark is eligible for an additional term.
Any soybean farmer who is affected by the soybean checkoff is eligible to serve. To be considered for the position, farmers must complete the required application and “Agreement to Serve” documentation.
The KSPB Board of Directors will submit to the U.S. Department of Agriculture the names of two potential nominees. The Secretary of Agriculture will make the final appointment. The chosen individual will begin serving the three-year term in December 2015 and will be eligible to serve up to two additional terms.
